Training Manager

I was born in Rochford, Essex. I was educated in Thurrock.

My first job was in the city working for an investment bank on the trading floor. I went on to work in a variety of roles in banking. In 2013 I did a 360 career change and joined SESNHA as an administrator and trainer.

Sue

Office Manager

Originally came from London and started my working life, working for M&S and the reject shop. I moved to Essex when my children were in primary school. I needed to work and went into domiciliary care. I have been working for Sesnha Care since 2004. I have worked in the care industry since 1995.

I started as a carer, and care work allowed me to work around my 3 children.

Once my children were grown up I decided to work my way up the ladder from carer to coordinator to office manager.

I have achieved my NVQ 2 and NVQ 3.

Later I was transferred to the parent company SESNHA where I progressed to my current role as a Care Coordinator.

Emily

Senior Carer

I joined Sesnha Care in 2020 and have been proud to be part of a dedicated and compassionate team. During my time away from the organisation, I took a year out to travel the world, exploring new cultures and experiences. One of the most memorable moments from that journey was getting married in Australia.

Returning to Sesnha Care after that time away felt like coming home. The values of person-centred care, professionalism, and community connection continue to make this an incredibly rewarding place to work.

Mark

Registered Manager

With over 30 years’ experience in health and social care, I’ve led services spanning home care, hospital discharge, residential support, and national crisis response. My career began in Manchester, later expanding across London and East Anglia through senior roles with the British Red Cross — including regional and operational management.

I joined Sesnha Care to help modernise its systems, strengthen compliance, and develop a culture of wellbeing, learning, and accountability. My background includes crisis leadership during Grenfell Tower and Manchester Arena, and more recently, training in ethical AI and workplace wellbeing to ensure technology enhances care, not replaces it.

I believe the best care starts with strong teams — supported, trusted, and proud of what they do.

Joyce

Payroll / Finance Manager

Since leaving school I have always worked in an office environment, starting as an Office Junior and then moving forward in accounting.

I started with SESNHA CARE in 1994 as a Finance Officer and then acquired qualifications in payroll, paying at some point 400 employees on a fortnightly basis.

Now working as a Finance and Payroll Manager.

1994

Lesley

Service Development Manager

I have been in the care industry since leaving school. I trained as a registered nurse in 1976 and continued to do this until I had my first child.

I left nursing to undertake the challenge of being part of the birth of domiciliary care. I started my journey as a carer and worked my way up the ladder in different care organisations. Since working for Sesnha in 2004 I started as a duty manager/ coordinator, I have progressed to the manager, office manager and registered manager, now service development manager

Through the years I have completed my NVQ2, Apprenticeship NVQ3 and now I’m halfway through completing my HABC level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult care.

Thus allowing me to enhance my skills in the care industry.

Nickie

Senior Carer

Before joining Sesnha, I worked in a primary school, where I developed strong skills in working with children and supporting their early development. I’m also a qualified hairdresser, which has given me a creative and hands-on approach to everything I do.
I’m a proud parent of three adult children and, excitingly, a nanny for the first time last year—an experience I’m truly enjoying as I continue my journey working closely with Adults and families.
